What is Kilnara?
Kilnara rents you a real GPU machine for a fixed number of hours. You connect over SSH, do the work, and Kilnara destroys the machine when the lease runs out.
The short version
You pick a card in the GPU explorer, choose a template and a lease from one to 24 hours, and Kilnara locks a price in ETH. You pay from your wallet on Robinhood Chain. The server checks the transfer on-chain, boots the machine with your SSH public key and shows the connection details in Workspaces.
Kilnara suits jobs with a start and an end: a LoRA run, a render batch, a quick benchmark, a model you want to try before you buy hardware, a migration script that needs a CUDA box for one afternoon.
What you get
| Piece | What it does |
|---|---|
| GPU explorer | Reads the open GPU market every minute and prices each card per hour in USD and ETH. |
| Workspaces | Machines your wallet paid for, with SSH command, VS Code link, lease timer and receipt. |
| Templates | Bare CUDA, JupyterLab, ComfyUI, Ollama, vLLM, a fine-tuning rig, Blender and SteamCMD. |
| Asset market | Sell models, datasets and templates. Buyers send ETH to your wallet. |
| Points | Off-chain points for rentals, sales, streaks and hackathon missions. |
Where the machines come from
Kilnara buys capacity from the Vast.ai marketplace and filters it to verified hosts with a reliability score above 90%. Each workspace runs in its own container on the host with its own SSH endpoint. Treat the host as someone else’s computer: keep long-lived secrets off it.
